At JobScout AI (an RB Tech Solution), we take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our resume building and AI career services.
When you use our CV Builder, we collect information you voluntarily provide, including but not limited to: your name, email address, phone number, employment history, education, and skills. If you upload a PDF or LinkedIn profile, we extract the text to populate your CV.
We do not create user accounts or store your CV data on our database. All CV data is stored locally in your browser's localStorage. If you clear your browser cache or use a different device, your data will not be accessible.
To provide our "Magic Import", "AI Job Matcher", and "AI Cover Letter" features, uploaded documents and target job descriptions are temporarily sent to Google's Gemini AI via our secure backend. The data is processed strictly for the purpose of extracting data and optimizing your career documents. We do not use your personal data to train AI models.
All payments are securely processed through Stripe. We do not collect, store, or have access to your full credit card numbers or banking details. Please refer to Stripe's Privacy Policy for more information on how they handle your payment data.
If you choose to import data using a third-party platform like LinkedIn, we will only access the specific profile information you authorize. We do not post to your account or access your private messages.
